Cultivating a Security-First Mindset

In my experience, creating a robust cybersecurity culture starts with leadership. We recently implemented a new training program that emphasizes the importance of recognizing phishing attempts. It’s fascinating how a little awareness can transform the way our teams interact with technology and data. How is your organization fostering a security-first mindset?

It’s great to see a focus on phishing awareness. In my organization, we’ve seen success with simulation exercises that mimic real phishing attempts. It’s not just about training; it’s about experiencing the risks firsthand, which really sticks with people.

Recognizing phishing is key, but it’s important to keep the dialogue ongoing beyond just training sessions — we hold monthly ‘phishing Fridays’ where team members can discuss any suspicious emails they’ve encountered. Have you considered adding something like this to your program, @chopkins20?
