I had a incident recently where a user reported a suspicious email claiming to be from ‘the IT department’ offering a massive discount on software updates. Turns out, it was a phishing attempt, and the punchline — the ‘IT department’ had a typo in their domain. I guess even cybercriminals have off days! At least it gave us a good laugh while we documented the incident.
